Ask students and staff to wear boots to show that they will “Give Drugs The Boot.” Consider requesting that anyone who has extra pairs bring them in to loan to people without boots. Pass out “Give Drugs The Boot” Theme Day Stickers the day before as a reminder. Then hand out “Give Drugs The Boot” Lollipops during your dress-up day. As part of a Red Ribbon Round Up, students at Dighton Elementary School in Dighton, Kansas, wore boots and the color red. They received paper cowboy boots with Smarties® and Dum Dum® pops attached.
